The Wagr tracker sends data to the Wagr app via two forms of communication:

SIM card

If your dog is outside the location data is transmitted to our servers using the SIM card which then updates your app.

If your dog is at home, connecting to Wifi makes sense as it uses less battery power than the SIM card. Similar to the SIM card, data is sent through the Wifi network to our servers and then to the app.
